Why does God allow bad things to happen?

With all the chaos and pain in the world, it seems impossible for God, or at least a loving God, to exist. Could God still be real?

Why does God allow bad things to happen?

If God supposedly loves us and is all powerful, why do we still experience tremendous pain in this world? For many people, including Christians, this is one of the hardest questions about God to come to terms with.

In our moments of grief and trial, if God does exist, he can seem almost cruel by not intervening. It is far easier to build a perception that he just doesn’t care, or maybe even wants us to suffer. But would you be willing to consider that God, the creator of the universe, grieves for us and our problems? How would your entire worldview change if you were willing to take a chance on a God that is truly loving and fair?

This one is a doozy, and there’s no simple answer. But we think it is absolutely worth your time to process and consider.
