Revival
At Base camp
Neville, OH — November 1-2, 2025
Revival is God bringing dead things back to life. It's hearts waking up, joy breaking through, and hope showing up where it felt lost.
The Bible says, “Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?” (Psalm 85:6). Revival is God moving. He turns us back to Him, breaks up the hard ground in our lives, and plants the seeds of an awakening only He can grow.
This is your invitation to transformation.

What To Expect
Expect all of the elements mentioned above, but also be expectant for God to surprise all of us. Our best-laid plans are only a rough draft for whatever God wants to do this weekend. So be ready for anything.
We'll cover portolets and firewood. Beyond that, it’s BYOEverything. Space is limited– please carpool if you can.
What To Bring
No matter what, these are your must-haves.
- Chairs
- Water Bottles
- Extra Drinking Water
- Snacks
- Drinks
- Food
- Hiking Boots
- Earbuds / Headphones
- Sunscreen
- Bug Spray
- Dress in Layers
- Weather-Appropriate Outerwear
- An Open Heart
If You're Camping
You're welcome to begin camping Friday night. Car Camping, Overlanding, and Primitive Tent Camping sites are all available. Camping areas will be between a 10 and 30 minute walk to the main tent. What you need to pack, in addition to the list above:
Clothes
Two main ideas: keep yourself dry, and dress in layers. Extra socks, a jacket for night, a rain layer, etc. You'll also want work boots, or something rugged enough to handle hiking in the woods all day.
Toiletries
You pretty much just need Wet Wipes (for pooping) and a towel (like a shammy, just in case). A toothbrush and toothpaste is sort of optional. Don't bother with a razor. You probably don't need deodorant, unless it's that prescription deodorant.
Food
No food will be provided. Pack food for your campsite (and some to share if you'd like)—because good things multiply when we bring them together. Bring food that can be stored without refrigeration, and that doesn't need a whole lot of prep time (unless you're a campfire gourmet). Clif-Bars, jerky, cheese and crackers are all great options.
Drinks
We recommend bringing a drinking water supply for your campsite. We will have limited drinking water onsite to fill personal water bottles. You're welcome to bring adult beverages, but be responsible. This isn't a kegger.
- Tent
- Sleeping Bag
- Sleeping Pad
- Lighter + Firestarters
- Headlamp
- Something to Drink Out Of
- Utensils
- A Plate
- Earplugs
- Trash Bags
- A Wagon to Pull Your Gear
What Not To Bring
- Guns or explosives of any kind
- Power tools
- ATVs
- Pets - Especially a horse

Ready for a revival?
FAQs
Do I have to come for the whole time?
No, you're welcome to come and go as you please.
Do I need to bring money?
We won't be selling anything at the Revival. It's all free. But make sure you read the “What to Bring” section above because we're only providing portalets and firewood.
What is the process for reserving a campsite?
It's first come first serve. We'll have designated areas for camping. If you are tent camping, you will likely have to hike your gear for at least 1/4 mile (so we recommend a wagon). You'll find designated areas for car camping. Just know the main tent might be a 10-30 minute stroll away…more time to soak in the scenery!
Are there handicapped accessibility or accommodations available?
We will have transportation from parking and camping areas to the main tent area for anyone who has difficulty walking. But the property is mostly rolling grassy hills with a few gravel roads for access. There's not significant infrastructure or any paved areas.
Tell me more about the restroom facilities?
Just your everyday portalet. We'll have tons of them. Or you can poop in the woods!
Is this open to those outside of Crossroads?
Yes, EVERYBODY is invited to this.
Can I bring adult beverages?
Sure, BYOB. But the goal of this weekend isn't a kegger, it's spiritual renewal. So be responsible.
Can I bring my gun?
No, don't bring guns or crossbows or nunchucks or any other weapons. You won't need them.
Will there be services at Crossroads' buildings on Revival weekend?
Services will not be in Crossroads' buildings on October 30 and November 2. Join us at Base Camp for Revival including worship, preaching, and stories. We'll see you out there! If you can't make it, a service will be posted Sunday morning for online viewing at home.
Will the event be recorded or live-streamed?
Revival is best experienced in person, so there's no plan to live-stream. If you can't make it, a service will be posted Sunday morning for online viewing at home.
Are Crossroads' buildings closed during Revival?
Check out your location page for info about Open Hours.
Is there some type of age limit for kids?
Not at all—everyone is welcome. But anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, so you're responsible for your kids when you're out there.
What happens if I have to leave in the middle of the night?
Then don't wake anybody up!
What happens if it rains?
Then we'll all get wet.
Do I need to bring a chair to sit on during worship?
Yes, absolutely. Make sure you read the “What to Bring” section before you come out.
Are there water stations?
We will have a limited supply of drinking water to fill personal water bottles. We recommend bringing a drinking water supply for your campsite.
