Gabriel | A Promise of Peace Week 3
Are you the person who has a Clark Griswold light show every Christmas, or the person that might not generally be the biggest Christmas decorator?
Can you relate to Zechariah and his inability to accept hope? Where do you see that in your life?
Kyle talked a lot about the important questions we ask, specifically “when”/ “what time is it”, what do you think about when you consider asking those questions to yourself?
Can you identify what thing, if any, that is holding you from the hope and peace of knowing that the light is coming?
Now close your time in prayer. Here’s an example: “Lord, I want to have hope and I want to have peace in the middle of my struggles. I know you are light and that you are coming, help me to see you and know you even when it’s dark, Amen.”
Christmas can be as dark as the shortened days outside our window. We want the hope and joy of the holidays, but good luck finding it amidst all the hurt and noise screaming for our attention. What if there is hope to be found, but we just haven’t seen it yet? Today Kyle takes us on a journey through time, space, and an angel’s perspective to see if maybe the reason why we can’t find hope is because we’re looking at the wrong time.
