Maybe you’ve seen those priceless paintings in a museum—then spotted the same image in the gift shop on a fridge magnet for $12. It might make you wonder: what’s legit, and what’s just a knockoff?

This is content that reflects on the Weekend message and how it can apply to your life. Each week, your group will discover what God might be saying to you, and how you can respond through a group discussion.
What’s the most interesting thing you’ve seen in a museum or art gallery?
What stood out to you most from the message?
Has there ever been a moment where people around you insisted something was valuable in your life, but you had a feeling it wasn’t? Share with the group.
How did you respond to hearing about Jesus when you were younger?
What can make it challenging to take time and reflect about who Jesus is?
Even if you are someone who has said “yes” to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, what are some doubts or questions you have about him? What would it look like to begin to confront those? Alternatively, if you could ask Jesus anything right now, what would you ask him?
Read Luke 9:18-20. What is one word you would use to describe who Jesus is to you today? (Take some time to think, there is no right or wrong answer.)
What’s one step you can take this week to either process, decide, or declare who Jesus is in your life?
Let’s end our time praying together. You can say something like, “Jesus, thank you for not hiding who you are from us. Thank you for loving us, coming to earth to live among us, and giving us eternal life. We ask for clarity as we process who you are and what you mean to us. Amen.”
