How it Ends | Week 2: Real Justice
The world didn’t end this weekend, that means we have at least today to dive into a few questions. Let’s start easy. It’s Father’s Day. Make like Brian and Chuck and share your best dad joke.
Now let’s dive into it. Read Rev 20:11-15 and 2 Cor 5:10 out loud. Why do you think there is a time of judgement? Why does a good Father need to discern between what is just and what is unjust?
Judgement will be for our thoughts, our words and our actions. (Yikes!) Do you think you and God need to do a review of your life? Why is there a time where you recap your short time on earth?
How does Jesus solve the problem that good, would never be good enough?
Why did Jesus die for each one of us? What does it mean to be a Father who would sacrifice everything for his children?
We all long for real justice and for those who are guilty to be judged. What happens when we are the guilty party? Do we still want justice? In Revelation we see Jesus returning as a legit, Texas Ranger style judge to lay down the law on everyone.
