What was the most uplifting or embarrassing moment that happened in your online life this year?
Often, the online world is characterized by anonymity, and by the hatred that anonymity often facilitates. Is it encouraging to hear that technology can be personal, and that using it we can reach individuals who would never otherwise walk into a church building? Did it change your perspective on technology?
Read John 16:33. Are you excited to be a foundational part of a new type of church, or is the thought of exploring a new frontier uncomfortable? Discuss your feelings about being part of something new.

Now close your time in prayer. Here’s an example: “Lord, thank you for providing the opportunity to share the good news with more people than ever before. Please give us the courage to step into uncomfortable and unfamiliar spaces to build your kingdom. We know that you will be with us wherever we go, even on the frontiers of the new world we are living in. Amen.”
What is “church?” Moldy old green carpet, uncomfortable wooden benches, and an hour of your Sunday wasted? The truth is that God always intended for the church to be active. To be aggressive. To head into the unknown in pursuit of those who are lost and hurting. We believe that God is calling the church to be something new, and we’re all in—come and join us.
