This week, Alli Patterson shows us the ancient way of building meaning in your life isn’t just about who’s in your follower list. It’s about Who you’re following.

Welcome to the Weekend-Follow Up!

This is the group part of the Bible Challenge, so your questions are based on specific Bible passages from the weekend message. Each week, your group will discover what God might be saying to you, and how you can respond through a group discussion.

  1. Share a time you did something silly, crazy, or downright stupid with your friends when you were younger.

  2. What stood out to you most from the message?

  3. Think about the various relationships in your life. Who’s your best friend? Who do you think you should get to know more?

  4. When you hear that we are limited in our number of relationships (aka Dunbar’s Number), what is your response? Do you agree or disagree?

  5. Do you tend to be intentional with relationships or just carry them along?

  6. When was a time you’ve shown up in someone’s life and you got to see the fruit? How did that inspire you?

  7. Read Galatians 6:9-10. How does this verse give you hope? How does it challenge you?

  8. What’s one step you can take this week to plant a seed in a relationship and help it grow?

  9. Let’s end our time praying together. You can say something like, “Jesus, thank you for loving us and forgiving us even when we don’t deserve it. Give us the mindset and courage to go out and show your love to others, to serve and help people where they need it. In the identity and character of your name we pray, amen.”
